Seit mehreren Tagen geistert ja schon der Dienst slideshare durch die Blogosphäre. slideshare ist im Prinzip für Präsentationen das, was flickr für Photos und YouTube für Videos ist: Man kann seine Präsentation hochladen, diese werden nach Flash konvertiert und schon kann die ganze Welt darauf zugreifen. Zusätzlich kann man ganz Web-2.0-like seine Präsentation mit Tags versehen.
Momentan braucht man eine invitation, wenn man den Dienst nutzen möchte, dies scheint allerdings nichts exklusives zu sein, weil man diese einfach nach einer Registrierung bekommt. Die Bedienung ist recht intuitiv und die konvertierten Powerpoint slides sehen als Flash ganz passabel aus – ähnliche Ergebnisse bekommt man auch mit dem Flash-Konverter von OpenOffice 2.0. Animationen gehen bei der Konvertierung allerdings verloren.
Ähnlich wie YouTube bietet slideshare auch kleine HTML-Code Schnipsel, mit denen man die Slides im Flash-Format dann in eine Webseite einbinden kann. Sehr schön ist, dass man direkt auf einzelne Slides verweisen kann.
Hier ist eine solche eingebettete Präsentation (meine Folien von der IuK-Tagung am 28.9.).
Da ich das Objekt in Wordpress nicht direkt einbinden konnte, habe ich das Wordpress-YouTube-Plugin von Jörn Zaefferer so umgebogen, dass ich damit nun auch Slideshare-Präsentationen per ID einbinden kann. Wer Interesse daran hat, einfach melden.

Wie läuft das Plugin denn unter WordPress 2.3?

Wir haben WP 2.3 und es spielt blendend, allerdings sollte man den HTML-Code nicht einfach kopieren sondern die div-Elemente ein wenig ausrichten.
Auch im Jahr 2007 geht halt nichts über einen ASCII-Editor.

Zweifele gerade an mir, da ich Slides nicht in Wordpress einbinden kann…
Meine Slide [1] müsse eigentlich mit folgendem Code eingebunden werden:
Dies führt jedoch nicht zur Slide sondern zu einer Fehlermeldung im SLideshare-Fenster. Test mit anderen Slides führen auch zu keinem Erfolg.
